One of the most amazing and humbling things is when a person sends a message or calls to ask for healing for themselves or another.

I add them to the prayer list here at home and to the prayer and healing lists that I am aware of an involved with.

I would like to share one of the most recent requests with all of you and ask that you add them to your own personal lists.

The facebook link to their story can be found here:

Joanne and Jeremy’s Miracle Baby Estelle

I do not know this family. I only learned about them and their story when I was asked to send them prayers, Healing and Love. In short, the mother collapsed, paramedics were called, they performed CPR until they arrived at the hospital. By that time it was too late to do anything more for the mother and the medical team turned to trying to save the unborn babe, pictured here. You are able to read the posts by the family and even the doctor who delivered the baby from their FB support page.

There has also been a monetary support system set up to help defray the costs of the little one in the intensive care setting. To that end we will be taking up a special collection at the next Bolts of Love meeting for this family and their needs.

This story touched me because of the outpouring of love that they are receiving from people that they have never met. It touched me because I was one of the ones called within hours to offer prayer support. It touched me because in reading the posts in the midst of the tragedy of the situation you can see the Light and Love of the Universe shining through in the little miracles. It also touched me because it is tangible how much this situation has and will continue to touch and teach and offer support to so many.

I also feel kindred to these people I never met. In the immediacy of Dean’s diagnosis all kinds of people came to our aid and thought of things that we did not think of that we needed and took care of us in prayers, financially and in food gifts. I see the same things happening for this family. It is such a beautiful thing. I would encourage those of you that feel drawn to keep them in prayers and such for much longer than this immediate time of need. I learned from one very lovely lady named Martha Miller how beautiful this is. Martha worked with Dean. I had never met her before and yet even now she sends little cards on all the off beat holidays. It has been beautiful to know that even though we are approaching 2 years since Dean passed that our family is still being thought of and prayed for. I know that it is because of people like Martha that our family has done as well as it has. So often after the immediacy of the situation is over I think families feel as if they are incredibly alone.

I can’t imagine the feelings of this family. A time of joy wrapped up with a time of shock and grief. Love can heal. Sending love to this family. Adding them to the Bolts of Love prayer list. Feel free to send in your own prayer requests and to add this family to your own lists. When we share that love and healing, it can only spread and grow,
