Today was a different day for me.
Today I spoke to my church congregation. Honored to be asked to share.
There were several people that asked that I find some way to share since they were not able to be at church today. I sit here uploading while watching the movie My Big Fat Greet Wedding — one I have never even considered watching until my friend and neighbor, Lee, brought me over her copy and said it would be one for good time and laughs. I find that in the middle of all its craziness the message of acceptance and reaching for dreams is a great one.
I dreamed since I was little that I would be able to teach in a very meaningful way. Until now it has been 11-13 year olds or very small groups of adults. One more step on my own “Jacob’s ladder” achieved today.
Special thank you to Dean, who encouraged this path more than any other. I know you were there today. I could feel you smiling.
